Our motive —

We aim to make sure front line workers and those most affected by COVID-19 know how appreciated they are during these devastating times.

About Us —

Students created this organization in hopes of spreading love and healing during these times. Isolation is hard for everyone, so by sending small cards with uplifting messages, we hope to instill the thought that we are all in this together. We recognize the time and effort that front line workers have been putting in, and want to support them as their overwhelming shifts take precedence in their lives. Giving Gratitude was established by Kira Logan, a student in the Bay Area of California. She aims for everyone to come together in unity and persevere through these extremely hard times as people are mourning and loneliness is growing. These cards should only be the start of what we as a country need to do in a time of division, and we should all remember to be kind; we have no idea what anyone is going through. All of the messages and cards submitted will be sent to local Bay Area hospitals, businesses, and nursing homes but anyone is welcome to send in a letter. We urge everyone to wear a mask, as that is part of our civilian duty — to keep people safe. Socially distance, be mindful, and be kind whenever you get the chance. The world needs our love and compassion right now. Stay safe and healthy!
