Start a Chapter.

Giving Gratitude has recently opened up the opportunity for leadership-seeking students to start a chapter of GG in their own community.

What is a chapter? A chapter is a smaller, branched off version of our main organization that caters directly to your community. Essentially, you would be under our supervision as you assume the responsibility and leadership as a chapter leader. Every chapter leader is apart of Giving Gratitude as we will continually check in on your progress. Giving Gratitude is open internationally, and anyone that is not located in the Bay Area, CA can open their own chapter to appreciate their city’s essential workers.

Why should I join? Becoming a chapter leader is a fun, immersive experience that tests someone’s leadership skills and offers them a chance to give gratitude to their community. Since the pandemic started, people have had ample free time and little idea how to spend it — spend it in a productive and rewarding way by becoming a chapter leader! If you are in high school, this is a great way to gain volunteer hours and stand out on college applications. However, there is no age limit to our organization and welcome anyone to start their own chapter.

When someone opens a chapter in their city, they are taking on a big leadership responsibility. A chapter leader is in charge of recruiting their own teams and finding local businesses and hospitals to send cards to in their own community.

We offer an introductory course over zoom for new chapter leaders to understand their role and help assist them in any way possible. We are with you every step of the way and are so excited you want to bring Giving Gratitude into your neighborhood!
